Created Luavella
Drs. John & Laura Tierney first met while working together in obstetrics and gynaecology, at the very hospital where Dr. Laura was born. Since then, they have practised medicine across Scotland, Ireland, Australia, and Canada, building more than fifty years of combined clinical experience.
Over the years, they witnessed a growing problem in healthcare: patients often felt rushed, unheard, or treated as a number rather than an individual. They wanted to create something different. A clinic where time is protected, and patients feel genuinely listened to.
That vision became Luavella Medical.
At Luavella, the consultation is more than a step before treatment. It is the foundation of care. It is the foundation of care. Every recommendation is guided by experience, evidence, and what is truly in the patient's best interest.
Luavella is named after their three children, Luke, Ava, and Ella, a reflection of the family values that continue to guide the care they provide every day.
